Procedure

The S3R Journal of English Language and Education (S3RJELE) invites submissions of high-quality Master’s dissertations and Ph.D. theses in the fields of English Language Teaching (ELT), English Literature, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Education, Translation Studies, and related interdisciplinary areas.

Submission Process

Step 1: Registration

Authors must complete the registration process before submitting their dissertation/thesis. Registration enables the editorial office to communicate effectively with authors throughout the review and publication process.

Step 2: Submission of Documents

Authors are required to submit the following documents:

  • Completed Thesis/Dissertation Submission Form
  • Full dissertation/thesis manuscript in PDF or Word format
  • Signed Authorization for Electronic Publication Form
  • Proof of ORCID Registration for all authors/researchers involved

Step 3: ORCID Requirement

S3RJELE requires all contributors to obtain an Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID). ORCID provides a unique and persistent digital identifier that distinguishes researchers and ensures accurate attribution of scholarly work. Authors who do not already have an ORCID ID are encouraged to register at the ORCID website before submission.

Review and Evaluation Process

All submitted dissertations and theses undergo an initial editorial screening to determine their suitability for the journal's scope and quality standards. Submissions that pass the preliminary assessment are sent for double-blind peer review to at least two expert reviewers.

Reviewers are generally requested to complete their evaluations within two to three weeks. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editorial Board may:

  • Accept the submission for publication
  • Request minor or major revisions
  • Reject the submission if it does not meet the required scholarly standards

Authors will normally receive an editorial decision and reviewer feedback within a reasonable timeframe following submission.

Publication Opportunity

Outstanding dissertations and theses that demonstrate originality, academic rigor, methodological soundness, and significant scholarly contribution may be selected for publication in future issues of S3RJELE. Published thesis/dissertation-based articles may be formally cited as academic publications, thereby enhancing the research visibility and professional profiles of emerging scholars.

Publication Fee

There is no submission or peer-review fee for dissertations and theses submitted to S3RJELE. However, dissertations/theses accepted for publication may be subject to a publication processing fee as determined by the journal’s current publication policy. Details will be communicated to authors upon acceptance.
